Council moves forward with future vision

With a vision toward economic development, the city council approved a rezoning request  for a 10 acre area near the old speakeasy.

Big game hunters no longer need to travel to the Serengeti to bag their trophies. Hunters can bag exotic game down the road at Champion Ranch.

The ranch, owned and operated by father-son combo Joe and Joel Swan, run 28-32 different species of winged and four-footed game.

“We’ve hunted all our lives, and loved the exotics,” said Joel Swan.  “Seems like every where we went we found things right and a bunch wrong.  We wished we could go to a place that did it all right.”
