Josh Abbot band to perform in Abilene

Lubbock , TX / January 22, 2010 - Texas Country sensation Josh Abbott Band will be bringing their signature raw, gritty country rock sound to Lucky Mule Saloon on February 4, 2010 in Abilene, Tx.

The Josh Abbott Band has gone from an unknown artist to one of the fastest rising young stars on the Red Dirt music scene.  Playing over 250 shows this past year, he has been performing to packed houses all across Texas and Oklahoma including Texas hot spots such as Wild West in Lubbock, Cowboys in San Antonio and Billy Bob's in Fort Worth.
 
"We put every bit of energy that we have into each show," said Abbott. "Especially in these tough times, college kids don't have a lot of money.  So when fans come out to see us, we are going to give them one awesome show.  It's all about having a good time!"
 
Coming off the success of their 2008 debut album Scapegoat, the Josh Abbott Band returns to Texas radio this month with the new single, She's Like Texas.  This song is the follow-up to their Top 10 Texas Music Chart smash, All Of A Sudden.  Both tracks are from the band's forthcoming sophomore full-length album She's Like Texas to be released February 16, 2010 via Pretty Damn Tough Records and Thirty Tigers.
