Colorado Middle School’s 7th and 8th grade boys’ track teams competed in the Ballinger Relays on Thursday, March 4th. The 7th grade team won the meet with 166 points, and the 8th graders placed 3rd.

Junior Varsity Lady Wolves Softball team won first place in the Sweetwater tourney this past weekend, losing only one game to San Angelo Central.

The Colorado City Lady Wolves won the Sweetwater Classic – White Division Softball Tournament last weekend. The Lady Wolves won four games while losing only one.
Victories were over Loraine, San Angelo Central JV and a 6-2 victory over Hawley and also a 7-1 win in the championship game over Stamford.
Ava Macedo was a standout in the game against San Angelo Central JV, hitting an in-park homer, as well as a triple.
Lexi Espinoza led her team with a home run, as well as two singles and five RBIs against Loraine.
Sydney Upshaw and Amanda Arispe stood out in the game against Hawley, each hitting a single and two RBIs.
Emily Hicks and Espinoza were pitchers during the tournament.
The Lady Wolves’ bats were hot as they outscored their opponents 47-17 while averaging .330 as a team offensively.
